The market has consolidated around three platforms. VSF's VS3235 leads time-and-date with unmatched reliability. Clean Factory's DD4130 dominates chronographs by default (only functional column-wheel chronograph clone). The DD3285 is best for GMT with correct hand stack.

2026 Improvements

Power reserve consistency has improved across all three platforms. Early 2024 movements showed significant unit-to-unit variation. Current production is much tighter, with 68-72 hours being the standard range for all three calibers.

Recommendations

For Submariner and Datejust: VSF's VS3235. For Daytona: DD4131 is the only option. For GMT-Master II: DD3285 offers correct hand stack. Choose by application, not by brand loyalty.
